Shop Scout is a personal, single-user tool. It has no public users or accounts of its own — only its owner operates it, through their own Pinterest and Amazon Associates accounts.

What this app does

Shop Scout connects to one Pinterest account — the owner's own — to publish pins on that account's behalf. It uses the Pinterest API only to:

Read the owner's own boards, to select where a pin is published
Create pins on the owner's own boards, after the owner manually reviews and approves each one

Data collected

This app does not collect, store, or share personal data about Pinterest users, site visitors, or any third party. The only data it handles is:

Product research and pin copy generated by the owner, for the owner's own use
The owner's own Pinterest API access token, stored locally in a private environment file and sent only to Pinterest's own API — never to any other party

No data is sold, shared, or used for advertising. No analytics or tracking of Pinterest users is performed.

Third-party services

This tool sends requests to:

Pinterest API — to publish pins to the owner's own account
Amazon — to build standard Amazon Associates affiliate links
Anthropic API — to generate product research and pin copy text

No Pinterest user data is sent to these services — only the owner's own content (product and pin drafts).
